Christos Anagnostopoulos holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras and a MSc in Integrated Hardware and Software Systems from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras. His research interests include deep learning-based SLAM systems and cooperative perception of intelligent vehicles. He focuses on deep learning-based techniques that can substitute traditional visual SLAM operations, like feature extraction and matching, and that can result in a more robust and accurate system concerning the estimated pose of the vehicle. In addition, he has several years of experience in research projects related to developing serious game applications and integrating virtual environments into Hardware-in-the-loop architectures.
